In 1848 a small rubber ball quietly changed the world of golf forever.

Before the Guttie, golf was a sport for the privileged few. Golf balls were handmade from
leather and stuffed with boiled feathers which was expensive, fragile and completely out of reach for ordinary people.

Then came the Guttie.

Moulded from the dried sap of a Malaysian sapodilla tree, the Guttie was durable, affordable, and consistent. For the very first time, golf belonged to everyone.

That single ball democratised an entire sport.

Today women are the fastest growing group of golfers in Australia and around the world.
Yet premium women's golf wear remains overpriced, underwhelming and designed as
an afterthought.

We are here to change that.

Guttie is premium women's golf wear, sustainably made in certified factories in Vietnam, designed specifically for women who love the game, and priced so that quality golf wear belongs to every woman who plays.

HOW WE MAKE IT

Every Guttie garment is made in certified sustainable factories in Vietnam one of the
world's most skilled and eco-conscious garment manufacturing regions.

We use performance fabrics that work as hard as you do moisture-wicking, four-way
stretch, UPF 50+ sun protection because Australian golf is played in real sunshine,
not a photoshoot studio.

Our factories hold international sustainability certifications and our fabrics are free from
harmful chemicals. Every stitch is made by fairly paid, skilled workers in ethical conditions.

We are not a fast fashion brand. We never will be.

WHERE WE ARE GOING

Guttie launched in Australia because Australian women are leading the global women's golf revolution and we are proud to be part of it.

We are also growing in other countries where women's golf is rising fast and where great golf wear has been impossible to find at a fair price.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Some brands are built in boardrooms. Guttie was built on a golf course.

I grew up in a family where sport wasn't just something we watched it was something we 
lived. From as far back as I can remember, sport was the heartbeat of our home.

But it was golf that captured my heart.

My father was a passionate golfer and from the age of six I was right there beside him. 
Not playing yet, but close enough to feel the magic of it. I carried his water as he played 
his rounds watching him move through fairways and greens, listening to the quiet 
focus of the game. Those rounds with my father are where my love of golf was born.

Decades later I am still on the course playing my own rounds now in Sydney with that same love for the game my father gave me.

THE PROBLEM I COULDN'T IGNORE

But something always bothered me.

Every time I went looking for golf wear that actually excited me something premium, 
well-designed and made for a woman's body I came up empty.

Women's golf wear in Australia felt like an afterthought. Uninspiring designs. Cuts that 
didn't flatter. And price tags that were frankly shocking for what you were getting.

I used to wait for the sales. Literally plan my golf wardrobe around when the markdowns 
would hit just to be able to afford something decent to wear on the course.

And I kept wondering,  am I the only one doing this? Are other women out there doing 
exactly the same thing?

The answer, it turned out, was yes. Thousands of them.

WHY I BUILT GUTTIE

That realisation is what started Guttie.

I didn't want to just complain about the problem. I wanted to solve it.

I wanted to build a brand that gave every woman who picks up a golf club the ability 
to dress with genuine confidence without having to wait for a sale, without having 
to compromise on quality, and without feeling like golf wear was designed for 
someone else.

The name Guttie came from the 1848 golf ball that made golf accessible to everyone 
for the first time. That story felt like ours to tell.

Because that is exactly what we are doing.

Guttie is my way of making sure every woman on that fairway feels as bold as the game deserves.
